Qurathulan is from a Pakistani Punjabi background, spend her childhood in Manly, Australia and brought up in Malaysia, is now married and travels back and forth to Germany where she lives with her husband.
Art is her passion and henna is therapeutic. Self thought and with 5 years being publicly displaying her work on Facebook and Instagram has given the opportunity to explore the mehndi world!
Glitz and swarovski stones are no more new in the mehndi world but in Malaysia it was new when Qurathulan published her new photo shoot on New Age Henna on Facebook in 2012 and got positive feedback. Being labelled as the first in Malaysia to provide ‘Zardosi Mehndi as a service and came up with more photo shoots such as KAZAKH MEHNDI and CREATIVE ZARDOSI.
Nakreze Mehndi had been featured in Malaysia’s number 1 wedding magazine, SHAADI MAGAZINE in 2 editions and FEVER MAGAZINE.
Nakreze Mehndi is also the first mehndi artist to launch her website solely on mehndi services within Malaysia, now, Nakreze has ventured into makeup.
Qurathulan has done henna for bridal events in Peninsular Malaysia and has been involved with events such as Vaisakhi Open House held in 2012 at Dataran Merdeka (where Malaysia’s Independence was announced in 1957), Vaisakhi events 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017.
Monash Universities Cultural Events, Segi University Cultural Events and MAKNA Cancer Charity Event in Putrajaya.
Nakreze Mehndi has also traveled to Medan, Indonesia, Phuket and Singapore for bridal henna.
Her sister, Noorulain is part of the Nakreze team and provides on bridal makeup and henna services to for groups and events.
